Shocker in Gokwe As Bachelor Is Found With A Hare, Dressed In Women‘s Clothing

TONGUES were left wagging at Marumbe village in Gokwe when a hare clad in woman’s clothes and big round earrings was reportedly found at a senior bachelor’s homestead.

Villagers came to conclude that the hare was a goblin married to the man only identified as Baken.

It is reported that the ‘fashion loving’ hare was discovered by a witch hunter during a cleansing ceremony which was held at the village.

Headman Marumbe confirmed the strange incident.

“It was during a cleansing ceremony when tsikamutandas discovered the hare at Baken’s homestead.

“It was not just an ordinary hare, but it was dressed and had earrings which was an indication that it was under someone’s care.

“Baken never explained what he used it for, but admitted in public that it was his before tsikamutandas destroyed it,” said Marumbe.

Baken’s whereabouts are unknown as he deserted his homestead after the incident.

Villagers revealed that they were shocked and still failing to understand where Baken got the hare and how he lived with it.

“During cleansing ceremony, tsikamutandas discovered a hare at Baken’s homestead and villagers were shocked.

“It was not just an ordinary hare, but it was dressed and had earrings which was a sign that there was more to it,” said Obert Nkwali. He added that though the witch hunter didn’t explain much about the strange hare, villagers concluded that it was Baken’s goblin wife.

“When Baken confessed that it was his, tsikamutandas burnt it and thereafter the issue became the talk of the village which might be the reason why Baken went into hiding,” he said.

It is said that when the witch hunters discover these strange creatures at homesteads, they give the owner a chance to confess in public before destroying them. If the supposed person denies having knowledge about the creature, tsikamutandas then expose them by saying out everything in public.

In the hare’s issue, Baken confessed that it was his therefore tsikamutanda didn’t say much about its works.
